REVIEWS:

“I am a mother of a daughter who is receiving help for her eating disorder. She has Anorexia. The Beginners Guide is probably one of the best books I have read so far, and I have read quite a few. It is up to date [and] is written in a way that is so easy to understand. She ends every chapter with a 10 to 12 point summary of the chapter you have just read. I encourage anyone, parents, relatives, friends, teachers, and boyfriends to read this book. One may never ever know what it feels like to be a disordered eater, but you can learn to understand why, where, how an eating disorder comes about. I encourage anyone to read this book... It has helped me so much to understand this terrifying disorder and help me to be the best support I can be for my daughter. She must want to get better and this book helps me to understand how I can be the best support to help her get better. Please read this book.”
